Mindful Listening

Engage in meaningful conversations through the art of mindful listening.

Improve communications at work, home and in life with the core skill of mindful listening.  Mindfulness cultivates attention and present moment awareness while strengthening our ability to listen to others.  Often, we listen to our own inner voice and not to the person we are communicating with.

Learn to cultivate the ability to listen well and reflect back to others what is being heard to increase understanding and improve interactions among colleagues and team members.  Listening is an ongoing practice of present moment awareness that includes suspending self-oriented, reactive thinking and instead open to one’s awareness, being genuinely interested in what the other person is saying.  This encourages the creation of positive relationships and avoids misunderstandings in communication.
